La revue AFRIKADAA
Pour son quatrième numéro AFRIKADAA, revue d’art indépendante et instrument de critique artistique et sociale s'engage sur le thème I-DENTITY.
Dans ce numéro, auteurs et artistes ont proposé différentes représentations de soi afin de mettre en lumière notre perception à travers le regard de l’autre.
Il est question de voir au-delà d’une approche académique et constructiviste de l’identité où la notion n’est que concept.
Ce numéro inaugure une nouvelle rubrique : AFRIKADAA'S PLAYLIST pour conclure votre lecture en musique avec la playlist spéciale I-DENTITY concoctée par Johny Pitts, photographe et écrivain anglais.
La rubrique ART TALK
- Une réflexion sur l'identité par Frieda Ekotto, professeur de littérature comparée: "L'identité en eaux troubles".
- La contribution de Julie Crenn: "Hassan Musa – À rebours des Identités".
- L'appel de Patrick de Lassagne à "Lutter pour le droit à la ressemblance".
- Une incursion "Dans la chambre de Mario Benjamin" entretien avec l'artiste et son galeriste, Jean-Loup Pivin par Camille Moulonguet.
- Le retour de Kemi Bassene sur le Symposium Black portraitures.

The AFRIKADAA magazine
For its fourth issue, AFRIKADAA, independent art magazine and medium for critical thinking on the topics of artistic creation and politics tackles the topic of I-DENTITY.
In this issue, several writers and artists offered to contribute their various interpretations of self, some of which resonated greatly with each other, in an attempt to shed light on representations of the “self” through the eyes of the “other”.
The aim is to see beyond an academic approach where the term “Identity” is just one in a range of concepts.
With this issue, we will also introduce a new column called: AFRIKADAA'S PLAYLIST, where you will find a playlist curated by Johny Pitts, a british writer and photographer.
The ART TALK section :
- An essay on Identity by Frieda Ekotto, professor of comparative litterature : “Identity in troubled waters”.
- An article contributed by Julie Crenn: “Hassan Musa – Going against the flow of identities”.
- An interview with the great graffiti artist Shuck One by Camille Moulonguet.
- Writer Patrick de Lassagne’s call to “Fight for the right to likeness”.
- We will take you in " Mario Benjamin’ room " with an interview of the artist and galerist Jean-Loup Pivin by C. Moulonguet.
- Kemi Bassene will share his review on the Black Portraitures Event.
